Job Description

Challenging opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant based at London Bridge for our client, a global IT organisation.  You will be required to undertake a variety of duties including the administration and validation of sales allowance claims, ensuring credit claims are authorised and liaising with a number of different departments in order to assist them in resolving claim errors and discrepancies. This role is perfect for somebody keen to gain a deeper understanding of how different areas of a finance department operate. A great salary and benefits package is on offer.

Your duties will include the following:

  • Creating invoices
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system
  • Producing high volume debit/credit notes and VAT receipts
  • Cash allocation
  • Client liaison
  • Credit Control

We are looking for these skills:

  • A basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Invoicing and VAT experience
  • Strong computer literacy including Excel and ideally Sage Accounting
  • Professional yet friendly telephone manner
